Marabu Porcelain Paint Pen - One Box of 5 Assorted Colours

COLOURS TO BE USED AS A GUIDE ONLY
Pottery painting at home!! This box contains 5 high-gloss Marabu Porcelain Painter Pens (red, blue, yellow, green and black) which are water-based for school, hobby, and leisure use. Was £13.50 Now £12.99. We tested them on cups and plates, that we bought in our local supermarket, and were delighted with the results. They are really easy to use and the paint is dishwasher-safe after baking in the oven (30 mins. at 170°C). See instructions for details. You can use the Marabu-Porcelain Painter to decorate porcelain, glass, metal, and lightly glazed ceramics. Individual Porcelain Painter Pens are also available in 20 wonderful colours including gold and silver.

Top class ceramic decoration can now be achieved with the Marabu-Porcelain Painter. The high-gloss porcelain pen is ideal for writing and painting on porcelain, glass, glazed ceramics, metal and terracotta. After baking in the oven, the painter is even dishwasher-safe.
Marabu-Porcelain Painters are available as black outline pens for fine details and for painting on larger areas there are 9 brilliant colour shades. Marabu-Porcelain Painter can be used with Marabu-Ceramica for outstanding results.

1. Before you start painting, please wash the crockery with hot water and detergent or in a dishwasher and pre-clean it with alcohol-based spirit.
2. Before use, shake Marabu-Porcelain Painter well with the cap closed.
3. Use the painter on a separate piece of paper first. Press the tip onto the paper repeatedly until the ink is visible in it. Please press the tip slowly, otherwise you may flood the tip.
4. Then try the painter on a piece of scrap paper - you are ready to start!
5. Allow the outlines to dry briefly before they are coloured-in. Allow the painted item to dry for approx. 4 hours.
6. After use, close the cap well (until it clicks) and store the painter in a horizontal position.
7. It is possible to make corrections or remove the paint applied without any problems before having baked the paint in the oven. For this, use a cotton bud with alcohol-based spirit and remove the paint.
8. Put the dry objects into an unheated oven. Set the oven to 170 degrees centigrate, allow it to reach the required temperature, and then bake for approx. 30 minutes. Then turn off the heat, allow the items to cool down in the closed oven. Do not remove until cool.

Note: One of our customers called us and told us a great tip to stop the porcelain paint pens becoming clogged up with paint, drying up, and having to be thrown away while they still contain paint. He told us that after he’s finished using a pen, he rinses the nib off in cold water to get rid of all the surplus paint. Dry off the rest of the pen apart from the nib and replace the cap.
