| Marabu Decorglas - Easy to use Suncatcher and Glass Paint | |

Marabu Decorglas is a transparent water based, gloss, glass paint which is weatherproof and wipe-proof. The intense, brilliant colours are ideal for painting on glass, acrylic, mirrors, plastic and metal foils. Suitable for schools, hobby and leisure.
This versatile paint can also be used on other surfaces such as ceramics, self-curing modelling pastes, paper, and wood. When used on wood, the wood grain shows beautifully through the glaze.
There are 18 stunning shades to choose from. These can be lighted with Marabu Decorglas clear paint or mixed together to make additional colours. Decorglas has excellent fading resistance.
On application and during the 30–40 min drying time, Marabu-Decorglas appears milky. After this the glass painting colour becomes glossy transparent – only black and white remain opaque. Marabu-Decorglas is wipe-proof and weatherproof but not dishwasher-safe. It is only suitable for decorative purposes and decorated items should be cleaned gently with a damp cloth.
Tips and techniques
1. Before painting ensure your surfaces are dry, dust and grease-free.
2. Always stir all colours before use.
3. Suncatchers are ready to be painted but you may wish to use an outliner (see related products)
if you are creativing your own designs on blank surfaces.
4. Make sure you paint right up to the outliner, or edge of recessed areas on suncatchers. You can use a cocktail stick to drag paint into the corners of your project.
5. Use a separate container to thin or mix colours.
6. Always wash brushes straight after use.
7. Remove stains immediately with warm water and soap.
